Terms of service.

Please read all of the following policies. It may answer a few of your questions! By reserving a picnic with us, you have agreed to all of our terms and conditions.

How it Works

We will be ready to serve you and have everything set up prior to your arrival at your chosen location and time. Once you arrive, we will leave you to enjoy the picnic for the allotted time and we will be back to clean up as soon as you’re done!

Please note that you are responsible for all the items until the end of your allotted picnic time so please care for them as you would your own belongings.  We really appreciate it!

Payment Policy

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your picnic date and time. The remaining 50% of payment is due 72 hours or (3) days prior to your scheduled picnic time. In addition, a $150 Damage and Loss refundable deposit will be charged to cover incidentals arising from any loss or damage to our belongings. Your deposit, less any deductions, will be returned within 24 hours after your reservation.

We accept Venmo or Paypal or Zelle for payment

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Your reservation deposit is non-refundable, however it may be used as a credit towards your new reservation (more details below). Your new reservation must be rescheduled within a three month window from your original date and you can reschedule up to two times, free of charge. Any subsequent reschedules, however, will be subject to a rebooking fee of $20. Once your picnic is set up, we will not be able to cancel or reschedule your booking and your payment will not be refunded.

Non-Weather Related Rescheduling

If 7 or more days’ notice is given prior to the original reservation date: no refunds, but 100% of the deposit will be applied towards a new picnic date, which must be within 3 months of the original reservation date.

If 2 - 6 days’ notice is given prior to the original reservation date: 50% of the deposit will be applied to a new picnic date, which must be within 3 months of the original reservation date.

Same day cancellation or no-shows: all monies paid will be forfeited except for the Loss and Damage Deposit, which will be refunded back within 24 hours.

Weather Policy

NYC weather can be unpredictable and we are more than happy to accommodate. Your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority. Picnic in Bloom will notify you of any cancellations due to inclement weather, at our sole discretion. We will attempt to reschedule your picnic for a different day and time via text/email. You also have the option to move your picnic indoors or to reschedule it within 3 months of the original event date, of course subject to availability.

Late Policy

Here at Picnic in Bloom, we strive to provide excellent service to ensure a most memorable outdoor dining experience. We respectfully ask that you arrive on our agreed time to enjoy the most of our services. Arriving to your picnic late can affect our schedule and interfere with other bookings for the day. We will always be on time and ready to serve you, so please be courteous and arrive to your picnic in a timely manner!

We understand that everyone can occasionally run late, so we are happy to provide a 30-minute grace period.  After the grace period, however, a failure to appear will be considered a no-show and we reserve the right to move onto our next booking.

Please be mindful that your booking commences at the scheduled time, regardless of your arrival time.

Alcoholic Beverage Policy

If your picnic is held in a public space, sadly, we will be unable to provide alcoholic beverages due to NYC’s strict laws on public alcohol consumption. Therefore, please do not bring any alcoholic beverages. Picnic in Bloom will not be responsible for any fines you may receive as a result. However, if your picnic is held in your home, backyard or other private space, we would be happy to accommodate requests!

Equipment

All equipment used during your picnic belongs to Picnic in Bloom. All items should be returned back in the same condition as you found it. If any accidents should arise, please notify us by text so we can try to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

Damage & Spills Policy

Here at Picnic in Bloom, we pride ourselves on furnishing you with stylish and clean items for your use and enjoyment. As a result, we would appreciate if you could inform us of any damage, including any tears, spills, or stains. Small spills with clear liquids or other non-staining items may not be charged for its full replacement value, but may incur a dry cleaning fee, if necessary. Your ($150) Loss and Damage deposit will be applied towards any broken, damaged or missing items.

Cleaning and Disinfecting Policy

Rest assured, here at Picnic in Bloom we take hygiene and sanitation very seriously. After each and every booking, all objects are carefully cleaned and disinfected so our guests can use and enjoy them as their own.
